Summer Hamad Hamdan is a Palestinian American who was born in the United States to Palestinian parents. She is the mother of two and grandmother of two. Summer has been a Sales Manager and Marketing Consultant with Spectrum Reach formerly Time Warner for over 16 years.  Prior to working with Time Warner, she owned her own businesses, Jewelry Store, Gift Shop and Coffee Shop in Morehead City, North Carolina. She has been dedicated to community involvement serving on educational foundation boards and the arts in North Carolina. She has served on the board of Al Bireh Society since 2016 and co-chaired the 2018 Convention in Orlando and is currently serving as Vice President of the non-profit organization.

She is committed to educating the youth and empowering them with their Palestinian Heritage.
